Building a strong brand: Corporate Identity
For building a strong brand, consistency and recognisability are key. Below you'll find our brand and design guidelines, together with templates for your posters, flyers, presentations, letters and so on. Please use these to empower our branding process. Struggling with fitting in or need extra advice on how to get your message across? Please get in touch with us via communications@mpi.nl.

LOGO, COLOUR SCHEME, AND FONT
There are two versions of the MPI for Psycholinguistics logo available: a regular 'landscape' version and a cropped 'tag' version (which should only be used when the logo will be displayed or printed in a smaller format). The logo files can be downloaded below.
› MPI logo package for digital use (zip file containing JPG and PNG files)
› MPI logo package for printed matter (zip file containing EPS vector files)
An example colour scheme/palette can be downloaded below. Besides our exact MPI green and orange specifications, it contains a number of complementary colours that could be used.
› MPI corporate identity colour palette (pdf)
With regards to fonts, we are using Cabrito (either Cabrito, Cabrito Didone, or Cabrito Sans, depending on the use case). This font family is available e.g. as an Adobe Font. In cases where this licensed font isn't available, please use Arial for official output.
POSTERS
These are the official MPI for Psycholinguistics (scientific) poster templates.
› MPI poster package for Affinity Designer (zip)
› MPI poster package for PowerPoint (zip)
Please note: versions 1 & 2 of the poster files offer more space for content, with smaller MPI identity elements.
IMPORTANT NOTE regarding the Affinity Designer template: when exporting your finalized poster, please make sure to set the guide layers to invisible (uncheck them), AND in the PDF export settings select 'Artboard' as the area to be exported (rather than the whole document).
Also note that if you are using the PowerPoint templates, you may encounter an error such as a missing background image when exporting using the 'Save as Adobe PDF' function! Should this occur, please use instead the 'Save As Type' > PDF function, and select the Standard (publishing online and printing) option.
Should you have your own personal copy of Adobe Illustrator, please feel free to use these .ai poster template files (zip).
Information on printing the posters can be found here: Printing posters.
