Guest Status
If your contract runs out and for some exceptional reason you wish to stay at the MPI a bit longer, you should discuss with your department/group director if it is possible for you to stay at the MPI as a guest.
If your director agrees, you should request an official guest status.
Please contact the secretary of your department who can arrange this for you. The same applies to extend, for some exceptional reason, an already existing guest status.
