Bite-Sized Insights
Bite-Sized Insights is a quarterly lunchtime event in a relaxed setting, where attendees (both scientists and non-scientists) can enjoy three 'snackable' presentations by PhD candidates. It provides a unique platform for PhD candidates to hone their communication skills while making their research accessible to everyone. Furthermore, it’s an opportunity for everyone at MPI to engage with innovative ideas in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Learning experience for everyone at MPI
The concept of Bite-Sized Insights is part of the journey PhD candidates make, learning how to present their research. In practice, these presentations are usually aimed at an audience of peers, but there will also be occasions where they present to a more general audience. Bite-Sized Insights challenges them to present the research in a way that captivates the audience and makes it understandable, without compromising on quality and depth.
The next edition of the Bite-Sized Insights is on 1 April 2025.
