sslvpn

With sslvpn (Secure Socket Layer over Virtual Private Network) anywhere on the Internet you have a quick and easy access to Maxintra, Library journals, or to your home drive or workspace. Besides that, you have access to our Remote Desktop Windows Terminal Servers which allow you to work as if you were at the MPI.

This service is discontinued due to security concerns (19/2/2025)

You can use the following services:

In your web browser go to https://sslvpn.mpi.nl (use your username to login). Standard mapped connections are:

    • MaxIntra (MPI Intranet)
    • Personal network drive K:
    • Home directory on U:
    • Workspaces
    • Remote Desktop Windows Terminal Servers (remotedesktop1 and remotedesktop2) (see Remote Desktop)

You can add new bookmarks, directories and terminal sessions by clicking the "+" icon on the right side of the item bars. When opening a directory, you can (if you have the proper permissions) delete, download and upload files, and make new folders. Click the "options" button in the login screen in case you do not see the "log on to" field.
