    How to organize an event at the MPI?

    General preparation

    TG guidelines

    1. In preparation of the event, please contact and state in the email the type of event you are organizing, the requirements needed (live-stream and/or recording) and the planned date of the event.
    2. Get the required consent-forms (see below) and make sure they have been filled out prior to the date of the actual event. The completed form(s) can be handed over to Patricia Manko and will be stored safely.
    3. Plan a dry-run with the (invited) speaker and somebody from TG just before the event.

    Available options for events

    • live-stream (Mediasite; no interaction/microphones for external participants, presenter is local in 163, Q&A possible requiring a moderator).
    • recording of event (Mediasite; recordings can be made available via the MPI mediasite server)
    • Zoom webinar (interactive, with chat/Q&A, remote speakers possible, recording via Zoom possible)

    Consent forms

    Consent forms are needed for livestream events.
