Infrastructure
This section describes the part of the infrastructure at the MPI.
In general, you will use a computer set up and maintained by the TG. The default OS we are using is Windows. This computer gives you access to the filesystem, printers and servers.
It is allowed to use the MPI network facilities with private mobile devices like laptops, tablets, smartphones. You can either use Wi-Fi or a wired connection. In both scenarios there is direct access to MaxIntra, printers and Internet. However, there is no direct access to the file systems and servers at the MPI.
By use of the procedures described in Remote access you can get full access to the MPI network and computer infrastructure. For that you need an MPI account.
