Telephony

This page describes the use of the telephones at the institute.

The telephone display shows date/time, full number, your name/your room number, and a quick dial button for the reception. The horizontal buttons on the bottom line represent:

Redial, DND (Do not disturb; phone will not ring), Pick Up, New Call, Call Back, Fwd All (to forward the calls to another number).

    Dial

You can dial on hook or off hook.

    • Internal calls: 3 digit number
    • Outside calls: first press 0 for the outside line, and then type the number. For Nijmegen the prefix 024 is not needed

    Missed calls/call history

At the upper right, just below your phone number, an icon can appear. This indicates missed calls.
You can view them by pressing the cog on your phone.
You can navigate up and down with the round scroll button in the middle of the phone.
With the middle of this button you can select the desired number to call back.

Further information about the telephones can be found in the Quick Start manual (the voicemail option is not available).
